The door swung open to reveal a disheveled Thomas. His b.u.t.tons to his uniform were undone and he wore no shoes.

"d.a.m.n it I was hoping this was the wrong door." My voice was barley above a whisper but what I didn't know was that he heard me.

"h.e.l.lo to you to." A sneer soon plastered onto his face with venom dripping from his mouth.

"Why did you ring me?" Putting my hand on my hips I tried mimicking his sneer.

"I needed to give you your uniform and tell you something."

"Fine what is it you need to tell me?"

"Tomorrow all the Lords and Lady's from the high houses will be coming tomorrow for QueensTrial. They will be staying for a month and a half during the duration of QueensTrial till someone is chosen. You will not talk, make eye contact or anything that involves them being near you. You understand?"

All I could do was nod. Before I knew it he place the uniform in my hand and shut the door.

Rude much.

I walked down the hallway to go back to my room and talk to Cam and Anna I pa.s.sed the other alway that split off.

That must be where all the members of the High Houses will be staying.

I shook my head to clear my thoughts and kept walking.

I entered my room. It was nice it had a full bed that had a green floral bed spread. The wall behind my bed was green and had a whole was full of book and drawing supplies. It had a small table with chairs in the corner by the windows too.

It took me a minute before I realized that everyone was sitting at the table.

Anna's POV

Ava walked in not even noticing us until a minute later.

"How was it?" Brook said wiggling her eyebrows. Cam had a smile on her face while Rachel busted out laughing.

"How was what?" Ava replied smoothly not even bothered by their actions.

Their plotting.

"Seeing him. I mean he isn't as hot as Roshan though." Rachel has a dreamy look in her eyes and have just gaged at that.

What is going on between her and Roshan?

Before Ava could replied there was a knock. Ava went to open the door and all of a sudden stood two boys.

Ava didn't invite them in or anything she just stood there arms crossed.

"Hi I'm Adrian and this is Calleb we live in the room across the hall and are the servants of the King and Queen."

Adrian was muscular with blond hair and green eyes while Calleb with dark haired and had blue eyes.

"Hi."

Cla.s.sic Ava.

"Aren't you going to introduce us?" Cam came up behind Ava and looked at Adrian.

"Fine I'm Ava. This is Cameron, Rachel, Brooklyn and Anna. Happy?"

"Is she always this grouchy?" Callers asked from the doorframe.

"No it was just a certain Prince p.i.s.sed her off."

Rachel replied wiggling her eyebrows.

"So true." I replied. We started busting out laughing imaging the exchange between the two.

"Which one?" Adrian asked coming to the table because Ava finally let them in.

"Thomas. There is so much tension between the two. But like a longing type of tension ." I said thinking of Mathew.

"Oh. I forgot." Ava said suddenly said standing up.

"Tomorrow everyone from the high houses will be here for QueensTrial. And I quote Thomas said I couldn't and I quote 'You will not talk, make eye contact or anything that involves them being near you'"

"Someone's over protective."

With that it made me think of Mathew would say that to me.

"Maybe he will shapeshift and follow you around."

We all just out laughing at that.

Everyone in the High houses have some type of power as do the Royal family. Each family in the high house has a state the govern. The Queen is a shapeshifter along with Thomas. While the King is a magnetron- which means they can wield and shape different metal- along with Mathew and Belle.

"Wait he said that to you?" Calleb asked

"Oh yeah and he gave me my uniform." Ava replied nodding her head.

"That's weird he never is that protective to anyone besides his sister and mother."

"That's weird." We all nodded are heads in agreement.

Rachel clapped her hands together saying "Time to do some investigating."
