A few minutes later someone knocked on the door again. It was Avery this time. Taylor said the exact same thing to Avery as she'd said to Carter. This time though, Avery stopped her from closing the door. "Look Taylor, my parents left for a trip, so I can't spend Thanksgiving with them. Instead why don't you come with me to my place." Taylor left and asked her parents, who obviously said yes. "Fine I'll come."
Taylor grabbed her coat and headed out. On the way to Avery's house they chatted a bit. "So how's Thanksgiving been so far?" Avery asked starting the conversation. "It was normal until Carter showed up."
"Why did Carter show up?" Avery was intrigued to hear Taylor's answer.

"He just showed up and before he could say anything, I s.h.i.t the door on him." Taylor and Avery both laughed about two seconds after she said that.
They arrived at Avery's house. It was the only one with the lights off inside and no decorations up either. They walked in the garage, since you have to go through there to get to the door that leads inside their house. They took their hats, gloves, coats, and boots off after stomping the their feet to get snow off.
As soon as they walked in the door, the lights went on and a bunch of people shouted "Happy Thanksgiving!" Carter and almost the whole entire school was there. Avery walked in front of me. "Surprise! We threw a Thanksgiving Party to celebrate our friendship! Carter was supposed to get you to come here, but I had to since he failed."
The rest of the night was full of games, desserts, and fun. There were the best moments ever, and the forget-and-move-on moments. The party was probably better than Avery and Taylor's Sweet 16 one. Carter even played guitar with some other cla.s.smates of his and formed a band on the end. They're called The Night. It's a long story. One that will be told another time.
The Thanksgiving Special is now done! Happy Early Thanksgiving.!.
