"Don't overthink things, I'm just fixing up your clothes," the stylist said with a rea.s.suring smile. She didn't think he would be so shy in the first place, especially since he had applied to become a model.
"Sorry," Marcel said sheepishly. He had thought that he was being taken advantage of and had panicked for a second.
"No worries," the stylist said and unb.u.t.toned four of the b.u.t.tons on the s.h.i.+rt. She was about to tuck the s.h.i.+rt in the slacks he was wearing but she hesitated.
"Just tuck in the s.h.i.+rt," she said.
Marcel nodded and tucked in the s.h.i.+rt into the slacks and after he was done, the stylist went behind him and started pulling the s.h.i.+rt out except for the front.
"Doesn't that look good?" she asked him as she brought him in front of a mirror. Marcel looked at himself, it was a bit peculiar but he did not hate it at all, so he honestly nodded his head.
He realised that fas.h.i.+on was really different in this time as compared to where he was from.
"You can go to the next room to get your hair and makeup done," the stylist said with a smile. She was really proud of herself but she had to give credit to his genes as well.
Marcel smiled and said his thanks before he left and went to the next room. He briefly knocked on the door and walked in. When he walked in, he saw that there was one person inside that was busying herself on the vanity.
"Excuse me?" Marcel said and the girl turned around to look at him. Once she saw him she smiled brightly. She was genuinely happy to see him.
"Hi, I'm Anne," she said and extended her hand for a handshake. Marcel shook her hand and smiled at her.
"I'm Marcel," he said a bit overwhelmed.
"I know, please sit down," she said and practically dragged him to sit on the chair in front of the vanity. She had seen the video where he was carrying Sherry the previous day and she couldn't forget his face.
She still had to do her job so she couldn't exactly act like a fangirl. It was definitely not the time.
"I'll be doing your makeup, the hairstylist went to take her equipment and she'll be here soon," she said as she carefully looked at his face.
"Mmh," Marcel responded. He just had to sit there so it wasn't like he could complain. Besides, Sherry had not arrived yet.
"You have really nice skin" Anne commented.
"Thank you," he said with a smile that showed his pearly white teeth and the two little dimples at the bottom corners of his lips.
Anne took a cape to cover his clothes so that they wouldn't get dirtied by the makeup powders don't stain his clothes
"Well, let's start," she said and asked him to close his eyes before she sprayed something on his face and cleaned away the substance.
She then started rummaging through her kit and took out a hairband and put it on his hair to push it away from his face since it hung over his eyes and hid half of his face.
She applied some skincare products on his face before she started the make up process. He had such flawless skin, it would be a shame if it got ruined because she was careless with her makeup application, so she paid extra attention to doing his makeup.
In about another fifteen minutes, the door opened and the hairstylist walked in with her kits.
"This s.h.i.+t is so heavy" she mumbled to herself as she carried in her equipment. Marcel opened his eyes and looked at the mirror and saw the girl's reflection. She really looked like she was struggling.
"Do you need some help with that?" he asked and was even standing up.
Anne was trying to choose a palette that best matched his skin tone so she was not ready when he suddenly stood up and took the two kits from the hairstylist who was struggling before.
She hadn't even known that he was there so she was both surprised and grateful. She thought he really had good manners, unlike all the artists that had pa.s.sed by her and watched her struggle with the heavy equipment.
"Thank you," she said a bit fl.u.s.tered. Marcel placed them on the station that she would be working on before he returned to where he was sitting. He had unknowingly gained another fan.
"No problem, it was my pleasure," Marcel said with a smile. At the end of the day, who knew how to make a woman's heart flutter more than a woman?
"Let's continue," Anne said with a bright smile and she resumed applying his makeup.
It did not take her too long since men's makeup was meant to be more subtle, and Marcel already had good raw material, there wasn't anything she had to cover up.
She felt like she was only doing his makeup because he was going to be on camera so he shouldn't look washed out, especially since Sherry was going to do her makeup.
"It's all done," Anne said after she finished doing his eyes. Marcel opened his eyes and looked at his reflection carefully.
"It looks great, thank you, Anne," he said with a smile and Anne smiled back at him.
"No problem, you already take good care of your skin so it wasn't hard at all," Anne said and Marcel just nodded ambiguously. He wasn't doing anything special at all.
"Do I have to take this off?" he asked Anne and she shook her head and he went to sit down on the side and waited for the hairstylist to finish setting up her station. As he was waiting, Sherry walked in hurriedly.

"I'm sorry I was late, we had a schedule before this," she said as she walked up to the makeup station. The two girls were already used to the girls, it was already impressive that they hadn't let fame get to their heads.
"Hurry up and sit, we have a lot of work to do," Anne said and draped a cape over Sherry's clothes.
"Come on, let's do your hair," the hairstylist said to Marcel. Sherry turned her head and saw Marcel sitting there.
"Hi, big bro," she said and smiled brightly making him almost choke on his spit.
"Hi, Sherry" Marcel said as if he had given up on life.
