"Good, let's go," Damien said but did not take his eyes off of George until Marcel put their bags in the trunk of the large car. After one last mysterious look at George, Damien turned around and walked out of the orphanage.

George would have never dreamed that Marcel would have had such a good relations.h.i.+p with Damien since he had just started out in the company. It seemed like he really won't be able to touch Liam lest he brings trouble onto himself.
Damien opened the door to the backseat of the car and placed Liam inside before fastening his seatbelt before he too went to the driver's seat and in no time the large luxurious car drove off.
Liam tried to make his presence as small as possible so he sat quietly in the back seat while trying not to make any sudden movements.
He had never seen Marcel that angry before and even without needing to be told he knew he was trying to control his temper. Damien was silent as well but it was because he was thinking about what he had just witnessed.
Marcel was still pumped up so he opened the window so that the breeze would cool him off. He had never been that angry in his life. Knowing what had happened to the previous Marcel and seeing how George was telling him that there is a trip that Liam had to be at how could he not know what the trip would be about? He had experienced a lot of those trips as well.
After a few minutes of driving Damien finally got out of his own thoughts and became aware of how tense the mood had become tense.
"Are you still upset?" Damien asked Marcel who was trying to calm himself down.
"Yes," Marcel answered as he continued looking out the window.
"How often does he do that with the kids at the orphanage?" Damien asked Marcel who was still trying to calm down.
"I almost fell victim of his ploys. There's a specific type that he would normally take to these events with people he calls investors" Marcel explained.
"What do you plan on doing about him?" Damien asked Marcel.
He had asked him out of curiosity but Marcel seriously thought about the question he asked him. He had thought of just dealing with him but he now realised that his position would just get replaced and the next person might as well be worse than George.
"I haven't thought of anything yet," Marcel said honestly. Even if he wanted to exact revenge on George alone he still hadn't thought of how he was going to go about it.
Much less exacting revenge on all those big people. Just thinking of all scenarios made him feel like giving up and just proceeding with his life without all of that drama.
"Do you want to do anything about it?" Damien asked.
"Mmh, but I have no power, influence or money to do anything," Marcel said accurately pointing out the things that he would need in order to actually make a difference.
"As long as you know. If you don't want to do anything I would completely understand since it'll be such a hustle. But once you decide to do something you have to go all the way." Damien advised and as Marcel listened he also calmed down.
"If you need any help at any point let me know, I'll do what I can to help, although I will not promise anything. This looks too messy" Damien said honestly and Marcel nodded in understanding. He appreciated the gesture in the first place so even if he wouldn't do anything he knew he could at least talk to him.
Liam was silently listening to their conversation and without the two men's knowledge, he had a very determined expression on his face.
If Marcel needed money, influence and power he would do his best to possess them. He knew how hard Marcel was working to get him out of the orphanage and live a proper life.
It would be a huge blow to his own pride if he just sat down and received all this from Marcel without doing anything himself. It was too sad that he was just too young, for the first time he wanted to grow up quickly.
After that conversation with Damien, the atmosphere in the car relaxed considerably and soon the topic moved to Liam.
"Will you let Liam continue studying in that school?" Damien asked Marcel. Marcel noticed how he said 'that school' in contempt.
"It's not like I'm his guardian, I can't make any decisions for him at the moment," Marcel said with a chuckle.
Damien looked at Marcel briefly and felt like he was being tricked into doing something. Why did he have to introduce him to Liam as an uncle? He felt unnecessarily close to the kid now.
"He is too smart for that school, he needs to go to a school that will help him unleash his full potential. He will just stagnate if he stays there" Damien explained. Marcel nodded in agreement.
He knew that Liam was very smart and he was more mature than his peers so he could understand why Damien said what he said. What left him feeling befuddled was the fact that the two just met less than an hour ago, how would he know so much about Liam?
Marcel was completely unaware of the amount of flexing Liam had done when he had gone into the orphanage to get their things. Even though he was confused he could not refute Damien's words.
Liam had not said a word during the whole conversation. He could not deny that he felt quite bored at school since things were too easy for him. To the extent, he did not understand how Marcel was so bad at school. Sometimes he felt like he probably made an effort to perform as badly as he used to.
